New! Friday 24th March - Join us for a tutored tasting of 10 meads!

We're really excited to announce that we've had such great interest that we're adding a special event, the night before the main one! Join our founder Tom, for a tasting through 10 of the UK's best meads. We're running two sessions, one at 1800 and one at 1930 - tickets are limited so buy early to avoid disappointment!

Saturday 25th March

We're running this as a ticketed event - every ticket comes with choice of 5 servings of meads from any of the producers present. Everyone's pulling out all the stops to bring the very best they have to offer, so make sure you arrive early to get the pick of the bunch! Once you've had your 5 servings, don't worry you'll be able to buy more from any of the producers to drink in or take away.
Tickets guarantee entry before 3pm, after this we'll be open to the public so early entry is encouraged!

Conditions for Saturday:

- Each ticket includes 5 servings of mead, the size of the servings will depend on the strength of the mead, further drinks will be able to be purchased after this

- Guaranteed entry until 3pm, when we'll then be open to the public

Meet the Mead makers;

Lyme Bay Meadery

Here at Lyme Bay, we have been perfecting our fantastic meads for over 15 years now and often experiment with new and bold flavours to push the boundaries of what is possible with mead. We combine our knowledge and love of flavours and ingredients with our wine-making skills to craft our award winning meads. Each of these amazing products is fermented, blended and aged, here at the winery under the supervision of our experienced team.

Shire Meadery

Shire Meadery is based in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains on the West Wales coast. The meadery was started in 2018 out of the hobbyist efforts of the owner, Ben, who drew on his scientific experience to create a mead that wasn’t overly sweet or strong for him and his friends to share. Experimenting with local and unusual types of honeys lead to the discovery of the intense and unique flavours that are revealed when honey is fully fermented, giving the meadery a dual focus of easy drinking and dry meads.

Great British Mead Company

Great British Mead Company produces meads primarily using locally sourced ingredients. We specialise in fruit meads, continuing a long tradition of mixing tree and hedgerow fruits with honey to create natural and complimentary flavours for all lovers of mead. We also produce seasonal herbal and hopped meads to add to the extensive range of products on offer

Arcane Alchemist

The Arcane Alchemist is an artisanal meadery based in Hampshire. Opening in 2022, we use the highest quality ingredients to create a variety of delicious meads that cater to any preference

Lancashire Mead Company

Take one Druid with a passion for REAL mead, mix with a bolshy Teacher & Business graduate. Add the vital ingredient MAGIC & VOILA – a successful business!  Ten years, 4 Mead Madness Medals and several top chefs later, we are still producing 100% honey meads enjoyed across the country.

Brood Meadery

We are a Meadery which are focused on using local and organic ingredients, as well as using low intervention techniques to produce our products. Our meads take inspiration from the United States mead market and strive to be bold, complex and memorable.

Afon Mel

Slow aged, pure honey meads and melomels from the Welsh Coast. Afon Mêl
spend half of their year brewing, blending and bottling meads and the
other half tending to their hives. Expect flavourful, honey-rich meads,
and lots of bee chat.

Wye Valley Meadery

Hey! We are Wye Valley Meadery - We are beekeepers-turned-brewers and have set out to help change the perceptions of mead and bring it firmly into the modern palate.

Stoneforge Mead

Stoneforge Mead was started by two fantasy-obsessed friends hell-bent on injecting pure magic into boring old everyday life! We focus entirely on a single product, our sparkling, semi-sweet, and oh-so-crisp session mead! Our session mead is the result of our quest to create a brew that is both pure and accessible, even for those who have never tasted mead before. It's an approachable take on this ancient beverage that's perfect for those looking for something simple yet flavorful. Stoneforge is the first brand to create it's very own EPIC lore, bursting with fantastical characters, mythical creatures, and badass adventures! This brand is for the hardcore fantasy fanatics out there who crave something that packs a punch! Grab a flagon, tankard, or whatever the hell you've got lying around, and get ready for a wild ride with Stoneforge Mead!

This is an absoluetly brilliant experience. Not only really interesting, but also we are really enjoying doing all the follow-up meading/brewing tasks at home and looking forward to our big batch of home brew, with all the kit that was supplied. The workshop is well organised but also really relaxed and you get to do some tastings as well. The best bit however is Tom, the founder, who did our tour, who is just the nicest man you'll ever meet. Highly recommend this, or if the brewing is a bit much for you, then their tastings tours are great too. And all great value.... London is such an expensive place, and these tours are really good value!
